moving driver improved prints ... however...

Unread postby Denis » Sat Feb 22, 2014 12:04 pm

I am now getting some great results after moving the filament driver to the hot end platform. I added some pulleys and some counter weights to take the weight off the platform and the stepper motors.
I am having a new problem unrelated to the modifications, Repetier software is crashing. I am also having another problem which is on going and common. Slic3r is taking a long time to generate the g-code. I am looking into a replacement for both Repetier and for Slic3r.
